Each of these headstones is made from natural bluestone from Pennsylvania’s Appalachian Mountains. As its name suggests, the rock is a handsome blue-gray color. The front of the stone is polished and smooth, but each gravestone has the free-form of the natural rock on the sides and rear, which means that each and every headstone is completely different to the next.
The bluestone pet headstone is available in three different sizes and to personalize your pet’s headstone further, you can have the text of your choice carved on the face of the stone. The engraving is then painted to ensure that your words are accentuated and will be as enduring as your love for your pet.
Choose three sizes and font/text styles below:
- Small
- Measures 6 x 8 inches. Thickness ranges from 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inches.
- Maximum of 2 text lines, up to 18 characters per line.
- Medium
- Measures 8 x 11 inches. Thickness ranges from 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inches.
- Maximum of 4 text lines, up to 18 characters per line.
- Large
- Measures 11 x 16 inches. Thickness ranges from 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inches.
- Maximum of 6 text lines, up to 18 characters per line.
Your personalized text will be carved in to the stone in one of three font styles. Select the font that is the most appropriate for your pet and inscription. (Click the button above for font examples.)
Please Note:
- Being a rough-cut, natural stone, the shape and coloration of your stone may vary from what the example pictured.
- A skilled artisan will engrave your stone with a layout that enhances your personalized inscription. Depending upon the length of your inscription, the font size of your stone may vary from the example pictured.
- The layout of inscriptions utilizing fewer than the maximum number of lines, and/or characters per line, will be adjusted accordingly.
